At Marina di Venezia Camping Village, we’re always keeping an eye on what’s next in the world of travel. Trade fairs, conferences and industry events are precious opportunities for us to connect with experts, professionals and institutions – but above all, to stay ahead of the changes shaping a fast-moving world.
Marina di Venezia and the future of tourism
One of the highlights of this year was without a doubt hosting the conference Lo Stato del Turismo in Italia (The State of Tourism in Italy) right here at our Village. The event, organized together with the national newspaper la Repubblica and the Municipality of Cavallino-Treporti, in collaboration with Assocamping and the Cavallino-Treporti Tourist Park, brought together leading voices from across the tourism sector. Moderated by la Repubblica’s deputy editor Walter Galbiati, it was a day full of inspiring debates and interviews. Experts, administrators and entrepreneurs shared ideas and opened new perspectives on Italian tourism and on the role that destinations like Cavallino-Treporti – the fifth most visited area in Italy – can play in building sustainable and attractive models for the future.
But our curiosity doesn’t stop at Italy’s borders. Every year we attend the most important tourism fairs and forums across Europe – occasions that let us discover the latest innovations, exchange experiences with colleagues and strengthen partnerships with those who, like us, believe in an increasingly conscious and forward-thinking kind of open-air tourism.
In October, we joined the Open Air Forum 2025 in Rome, promoted by FAITA-Federcamping. It’s a key event for our sector, focusing on crucial topics such as sustainability and digital transformation – and we were proud to receive an award in recognition of our achievements in the ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) categories.

January took us, as always, to CMT Stuttgart, Europe’s biggest fair for tourism and leisure. During this event, Pincamp – the digital camping guide created in partnership with ADAC – announces the Top Camping in Europe awards. Once again this year, Marina di Venezia received this prestigious recognition, confirming the quality of our hospitality and the trust our guests continue to place in us year after year.
In February, we headed to Munich to celebrate our “tourism ambassadors” – the loyal guests who, with enthusiasm and affection, help spread the word about our region all across Europe. It was a moving moment that reminded us how much our big international family contributes to the ongoing success of Marina di Venezia Camping Village.
Taking part in these events means looking ahead, collecting ideas and inspiration to grow. It means understanding the new needs of travelers – who are ever more aware of the environment, the quality of their time and the digital tools that make travel easier – and turning those needs into authentic, sustainable experiences.
In a world of tourism that never stops evolving, our commitment stays the same: to explore new trends, keep improving and continue being, right here on the Adriatic coast, a true point of reference for top-quality open-air hospitality.
