At a large outdoor camping village such as the Marina di Venezia, taking care of the greenery is a top priority. We know our guests appreciate the amount of hard work and dedication and that you can see it and feel it. But there’s of course more to it than meets the eye. In tending to our green areas, we are guided by eco-sustainability, which requires considerable planning and coordination. Our maintenance operations are restricted to low-impact treatments that safeguard native species and innovative conservation methods are used where necessary.
With a keen eye trained on the green areas, it is the responsibility of our gardening staff and in-house agronomist to ensure that our camping village environment stays thriving and well groomed.
At the Marina di Venezia, we are proud of our magnificent gardens, aqua park complex and wide sandy beach. We are an open-air facility, our sea and our location give us many wonderful sunny days and on sunny days, taking a dip in the waters of the Adriatic and relaxing under the umbrellas are part of the summer holiday experience. However, the intense heat may sometimes be accompanied by summer thunderstorms. No sooner has the rain stopped, our maintenance teams are busy at work, cleaning up fallen branches and any foliage and debris dislodged by the wind and rains. Following one of the more severe night-time downpours, guests were surprised to find that everything had already been cleaned up by 8.00 am the next morning. Thus, efficient maintenance of our also grounds also has a safety dimension, keeping the roads and paths clean and functioning.
A clean road is not only beautiful, it is safer for all vehicles on the road and for all our guests.
