Summer in Cavallino-Treporti traditionally comes to a close with one of the most spectacular events on the Adriatic coast: Beach on Fire, the unmissable fireworks show that attracts thousands of visitors to the shoreline every year. 

More than just a fireworks display, Beach on Fire is an experience that captivates guests of all ages. Over 13 kilometres of coastline become one vast open-air stage, with a succession of lights, colours and reflections on the sea that has made the event internationally renowned. It is no coincidence that Beach on Fire entered the Guinness World Records as the longest synchronised fireworks display in the world. 

Created in 2004 from an idea by Parente Fireworks and awarded this prestigious recognition in 2016, Beach on Fire has become one of the defining events of summer in Cavallino-Treporti. Behind the display lies a complex process of planning and coordination: a central control system synchronises every launch point, creating a single, extraordinary choreography of light that embraces the entire coastline.

Save the date: on Saturday, 29 August 2026, the sky above Cavallino-Treporti will once again light up with thousands of fireworks launched in perfect synchronisation from several locations along the coast, from Punta Sabbioni to the Cavallino lighthouse. 

Thanks to the distinctive shape of the coastline, the display can be enjoyed from almost anywhere along the beach. Watching from the shore is an immersive experience, while viewing it from the sea, aboard a boat, offers an even more evocative perspective over the entire spectacle.
