Beach on Fire 2025: When The Summer Sky Over Cavallino Treporti Bursts Into Flames

Every year in late August, the beach of Cavallino Treporti becomes the stage for one of the most breathtaking and beloved events on the entire Adriatic coast: Beach on Fire. But this is no ordinary fireworks display – it’s an immersive spectacle that captivates over 200,000 spectators and holds a Guinness World Record as the longest fireworks show on Earth.

The idea was born in 2004, created by the renowned pyrotechnics company Parente Fireworks, and officially launched in 2016. Since then, Beach on Fire has become a major summer highlight for Italy’s Adriatic resorts – a record-breaking event with a carefully choreographed performance and centralized direction stretching along thirteen kilometers of coastline.

Over the years, the show has evolved into a true symphony of light: a seamless fusion of sound, color, and rhythm, transforming the beach into an open-air theatre of emotion. Each firing point is harmonized with the next, creating a continuous glowing horizon across the shore.

This year, the magic returns on Saturday, 23 August 2025. Thirteen kilometers of beach will light up as thousands of fireworks are launched in perfect synchrony from ten strategic points, stretching from Punta Sabbioni to the Cavallino lighthouse. The night sky will become a canvas of brilliant color, shimmering reflections, and spectacular effects.
