Marina di Venezia Beach Bars: Music, Memories, and Magic by the Shore

Marina di Venezia Beach Bars: Music, Memories, and Magic by the Shore

Nestled within our camping village, the three beach bars are far more than mere refreshment points—they are cherished meeting places where stories are woven, friendships rekindled, and familiar faces return summer after summer. Fully renovated to offer an even more welcoming vibe, they owe their lively spirit to a close-knit team who often return year after year, keeping the feeling of home alive.

As evening falls, the bars transform into the heart of beachside entertainment. Alongside the beloved DJ on the Beach sessions, this year’s new Rock on the Beach event promises unforgettable nights under the stars, where the sea breeze and live music create a magical ambience.

Il Blu: A Smile That Welcomes You

For 36 years, Il Blu has been the cherished realm of Bruno Zanetti, a beloved institution within our camping village. Managed by Bruno together with his family—his wife, who has passed on, his son, and his dedicated daughter Monia—it stands as a beacon for generations of guests.

At 85, Bruno’s infectious energy continues to amaze. He is always the first to arrive in the morning and the last to leave at night. His secret? Staying mentally active. During the winter months, he indulges in his passion for video games, favoring those that demand focus and strategy, often playing late into the night.

Before joining the camping world, Bruno’s career began as a local bartender and then as a wholesale beverage supplier. His journey at the camping site started with managing the historic central kiosk and Bar Jolly (now the Fratino Restaurant), before finally dedicating himself to Il Blu, his true passion.
Beloved by all, Bruno is the soul of every celebration. Each summer, he marks his birthday with a grand festivity involving the entire village, delighting loyal guests with unique keepsakes.

Hospitality is at the heart of Il Blu – warm smiles, sincere greetings, and genuine care are constants, warmly reciprocated by guests whose gifts proudly adorn the venue. Here, simplicity and tradition mingle with a modern touch: vegan options now grace the menu.
Early risers will always find Bruno ready to welcome them with his ever-present smile, inviting everyone to start the day on a joyful note.

Il Giallo: Summer’s Vibrant Spirit

Romina and Sofia, sisters-in-law and lifelong friends, began Il Giallo as a dream—and a bold challenge. Before this venture, one was an archaeologist, the other a shop assistant. Alongside them from the very beginning is Loredana, a cherished team member whose presence remains indispensable today.

The first days were tough with only three of them at the helm, but their passion, ongoing training, and creative spark shaped Il Giallo into a staple for camping guests over time.
The atmosphere is warm and familiar: their daughters grew up here, playing with children and enjoying endless summer afternoons. Now they work side by side with their mothers, sharing the same enthusiasm, because Il Giallo is truly their home.

Renovations brought growth, but the essence—the welcoming heart, the inventive soul, the genuine character—remains steadfast. The menu is a living story, ever-changing with new dishes born of winter experiments, family votes, and shared dreams.

Among their most cherished creations is the “Cocodè,” a piadina born in the shadow of COVID, its name a blend of their surnames. The new “Gustoso” and “Muu Muu” carry forward their passion for innovation.

Their cocktail menu reflects their inventiveness too, with seasonal pairings like licorice mojitos alongside timeless classics.

The team is all female, and over the years, Il Giallo has been adorned with personalized furnishings, cozy sofas, accessories, and even a sign crafted by one sister’s brother. The touch of greenery is ever-present, with lovingly cared-for plants enhancing the space.

As the 20th anniversary approaches in 2027, whispers hint at a symbolic tattoo – a palm tree, the emblem of their logo and journey – a testament to courage, family, and countless smiles shared along the way.

Il Verde: Creativity and Music at Sunset

Since 2017, Monia has been at the helm of Bar Verde, though her family’s presence at the campsite dates back to 2003. Over the years, this space has evolved into a cherished spot for those seeking a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere—especially during aperitivo and dinner, Monia’s favorite times when a gentler pace allows her to nurture meaningful connections with guests.

In recent years, Bar Verde has enriched its evening offerings with delights tailored for these moments, such as pizza in pala (baked on a wooden paddle) – a beloved treat for all ages. But Bar Verde is more than just good food; it’s also music and entertainment. Each summer, the event schedule features long-standing favourites like the collaboration with the duo André and Tavares, alongside new additions like karaoke, which has quickly become a classic.

Cocktails are another of Monia’s great passions: every season brings original creations alongside timeless classics, born from her creativity and ongoing training—she has completed numerous courses to refine her skills and experiment with new mixes.

Though Bar Verde closes for winter, Monia is hard at work behind the scenes, meticulously preparing for the next season with the same passion and care she’s known for.

Each of our beach bars bears its own soul and story, yet they share a common heartbeat: devoted hospitality, a passion for fine fare, and an earnest desire to make you feel at home. These are not mere stops on your journey—they are places you long to revisit. Behind every dish, every smile, lies a pledge to a summer worth remembering.
