Nestled in a peaceful yet central location at the start of the "yellow path," the PiacerMio restaurant has been a beacon of refined dining since 2015. Designed by renowned architect Matteo Thun, this exceptional project marries innovative spatial concepts with a deep commitment to sustainability. Surrounded by a lush garden, the restaurant’s sleek architecture, with its expansive glass walls and clean lines, creates a harmonious fusion of nature and design.
PiacerMio and the Essence of Autumn Flavors
In 2020, Giulio, a young but seasoned restaurateur, took the reins of PiacerMio. His expertise, built from years of working in his family's restaurant during summer season and further honed in top venues across Austria and London, has infused PiacerMio with both tradition and innovation. Remarkably, Giulio managed his own restaurant in Kitzbühel by the age of 21, demonstrating a passion for hospitality well beyond his years. Yet, stepping into PiacerMio was a new and thrilling chapter in his career.
Under his guidance, PiacerMio has preserved its elegant and sophisticated charm while subtly evolving to offer an even wider variety of refined dishes. Giulio’s approach remains grounded in authenticity, combining meticulous culinary craftsmanship with a genuine appreciation for local ingredients.
The menu offers a carefully curated selection of timeless favorites, with weekly variations inspired by seasonal produce, ensuring that even the most regular patrons are treated to delightful new flavors.
The meticulous planning for each summer season begins in January, with Giulio personally overseeing the creation of the new menu. Every detail is thoughtfully considered to reflect the preferences of PiacerMio’s discerning clientele.
Open from morning until late evening, PiacerMio provides a well-rounded experience, starting with a bountiful breakfast selection, continuing with a gelato bar, and culminating in a sophisticated lunch and dinner service. With 140 seats, the restaurant can accommodate up to 250 guests for special events, all while maintaining an intimate atmosphere, thanks to its elegantly separated dining rooms. The subtle division of spaces, with glass panels and flowing curtains, ensures privacy, setting PiacerMio apart from the bustling energy of Listón, the town’s lively main avenue.
One of Giulio’s most celebrated innovations is the introduction of jazz nights, where live music creates an enchanting atmosphere that complements the restaurant’s chic aesthetic.
This perfect blend of gourmet cuisine and musical elegance has made PiacerMio a favored destination for memorable celebrations, including birthdays and anniversaries. Surrounded by fragrant herbs – many of which are sourced directly from its own garden – PiacerMio places a strong emphasis on fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients, with a particular focus on zero-kilometer produce.
Giulio and his talented chef also delight in sharing their culinary secrets, presenting a recipe inspired by the flavors of autumn, perfect for trying at home: tender potato gnocchi with sage butter, served on a velvety pumpkin cream and topped with smoked ricotta – a dish as comforting as it is refined.
