Our Love for Nature: A Living Commitment to Green Harmony

Surrounded by lush greenery and set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Cavallino Treporti peninsula, our camping village embodies a deep connection to nature. Every corner reflects our passion for sustainability, offering an inviting space where respect for the environment meets the comfort of a restorative retreat.

Spanning 70 hectares along the coastline, Marina di Venezia is surrounded by nature that we care for with the utmost respect. Expansive woodlands embrace the Marina 2000 and Marina 8000 areas, creating a serene atmosphere where guests feel immersed in verdant tranquility. Even the heart of the campsite, with its pitches and accommodation, is enriched by trees and meadows, infusing every space with vitality and natural beauty.

Much of the campsite is covered by soft, sprawling grasslands. These not only enhance the landscape but serve an essential ecological purpose: absorbing rainwater, preventing soil erosion, and improving air quality by capturing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen. This living, breathing green carpet is a cornerstone of our efforts to preserve ecological balance.

Our commitment to greenery knows no season. During the winter months, we intensify our efforts to ensure that every plant, meadow, and tree is ready to bloom again in spring. From pruning and planting to nourishing the soil and introducing new trees and shrubs, our dedication is unwavering. One of the native species we’ve introduced is the Phillyrea angustifolia, a coastal woodland plant chosen to create natural perimeter hedges.

Particular care is given to the majestic stone pine (Pinus pinea), a defining feature of the coastal landscape. This tree, alongside maritime pines (Pinus pinaster) and Aleppo pines (Pinus halepensis), enriches the environment with their towering presence. Whether it’s meticulous pruning or the careful collection of pinecones, every act of stewardship reflects our respect for these natural giants and their vital role in the ecosystem. They provide shade, enhance the scenery, and offer a home to playful squirrels that delight our guests.

The dune belt separating our campsite from the beach is a delicate ecosystem we protect with care. Years ago, we introduced native xerophytic species typical of "grey dunes" to stabilize the sandy terrain and enhance the natural allure of the coastline. One of these, the Scabiosa triandra, has flourished, spreading into nearby woodlands with the help of local birds and becoming a symbol of adaptability and resilience.

Our landscape evolves with the seasons. While evergreens like holm oaks and pines provide year-round stability, deciduous trees bring the magic of changing foliage, painting the campsite in warm autumnal hues. When planning new plantings, we prioritize native or naturalized species that thrive in our climate and require minimal water, staying true to our sustainability commitment.

Every tree, plant, and meadow is cared for at least once a year. In autumn, as nature prepares for rest, we conduct meticulous checks across the campsite to ensure that every corner remains in perfect harmony.

Staying at our camping village means immersing yourself in a thoughtfully cared-for landscape, shaped by passion and respect. Here, every plant, tree, and meadow works together to create a rejuvenating oasis, where you can unwind, breathe fresh air, and marvel at the beauty of the local flora. Here, amidst the serene beauty of Cavallino Treporti, nature becomes your host, guide, and companion.
